Hello all,
New to pigs but not to the farm. For the last 5 yrs our "hobby farm" has been chickens, goats and horses, now we are taking on pigs I guess.
Our son the oldest of 5 kids has joined FFA and for his SAE has chose to show a Poland China. So to the barn we go and converted the horse wash stall to a pig stall and thankfully we have a large barn so Mr. Man can work his pig in the arena even in foul weather.
I just found the forum today and not had time to read through but I'm sure i'll find great bits of info. Who knows maybe we will breed the show pig instead of butcher it.
