    I adopted 50+ chickens recently.

My neighbors and my flock were starting to merge, and his didn't look good. I took mine over to a friends in order to concentrate getting his back up to par. He has to many and can't keep up with them.

Nice! We have 2 draft crosses and a quarter type. We have 1 longhorn, who was my wedding present from my hubby. Your animals are all beautiful!

The only critters we have right now is Chickens, ducks, geese, a dog, and a cat. My daughter will be getting another cat once she finishes her cat project book for 4-H. She will be showing the cat and some chickens next year.

Impressive! How long have you been raising cattle?

We have always had them, so right at 30 years. We started out with white face when we lived in W.Va. Sold them and moved to Va. then I bought a Jersey and then a second. Sold them, total of 6 (3 being milked by hand) to some guy that offered me an amount I could not say no to. Now we have longhorns, which are a very cool breed.

We see them a lot in Texas, but I've never been up close to one.

    Are they docile?

Just guessing but no. Donkeys are not typically nice.

    That bull is impressive.

I like the 3 horses looking out the barn the best of the photos.

    Nice animals you have.
